Anessa Farber has worked in San Mateo County for eighteen years in multiple roles, including Health Administration, Probation (Juvenile, Adult), and Mental Health. Anessa spent eight years working in County Health’s Public Health, Policy and Planning (PHPP) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Departments as the Fiscal and Administrative Officer. Currently, Anessa serves as the Public Health Clinics Manager overseeing the administration of Edison HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infection, Mobile, Street, and Field/Farmworker Medicine Clinics’ teams. Anessa is a systems’ navigator who has a passion for building team culture and empowering new supervisors/managers to develop their personal leadership style as well as find flow in a new role/environment.
