Flood Park Partially Reopens Saturday, Dec 21

On Sat., Dec. 21, Flood Park will open recently completed facilities, including a small multi-use sports field, basketball and tennis and pickleball courts, and the bike pump track.

Old Guadalupe Trail is closed between trail markers 3 and 10.

Huddart Park Closures

Toyon Campground is closed and without water. Richards Road is partially closed to equestrians for the winter. Skyline Trail closed between Kings Mtn Rd and Archery Fire Rd.

Parks Main Office Holiday Closures

This holiday season, the San Mateo County Parks Main Office will close on December 25 and reopen on January 6, 2025.

Bicycle Sunday Canceled for Holiday Weekends

Bicycle Sunday, the weekly event that allows for non-motorized use of Cañada Road along Crystal Springs Regional Trail, will be canceled during holiday weekends to meet increased staffing needs at other parks in the area.

Sam McDonald Park Trail Closures

Weekday closures on Ridge Fire Road for fuel management work. Horse Trails closed for winter.

Quarry Park Pump Track Closed

The pump track at Quarry Park is currently closed until further notice because of recent heavy rainfall.

Memorial Park Trail Closures

Trillium Nature Trail in Memorial Park is closed, from trail markers 3 to 5, due to a large fir tree that fell in the March 2023 storms and blocked the trail. All single-track trails in Pescadero Creek Park are now closed to horses for winter.

Mirada Surf East Fuel Reduction Update

Mirada Surf East has reopened following fire fuel reduction work.

Pescadero Creek Park Trail Closures

The area south and west of the park, which was burned by the CZU Lightning Complex Fire, remains closed. Other trails remain closed due to storm damage.
